Staff Sports Tournament:
In the tournament organized for the employees of the Shrine Board from 05-03-2018 to 10-03-2018, 78 male and 14 female players participated in the events of volleyball, Kabaddi, Tug of war, shot put, discus and 100 mtr. Race.
Selection Trials for pre Asian Camp:
In the 1st Open selection trials organized by National Archery Association for the Asian para games and National coaching camp held at SAI, 2018 Rohtak Haryana on 24th & 25th March. 2018 in which 3 players participated. All these players were selected on merit basis for pre Asian Para Games.
Sports Day as part of Tarang:
SMVD Nursing College organized Sports ceremonial activities on 24-03-2018 at Sports Complex in which 118 students participated in the events of march past , 100 mtr, 200 mtr, 400 race and yoga Asans.
Pre National Trials in Archery:
In the trials organized by J&K Archery Association at Gulshan Ground Jammu, 14 players of coaching centre participated. 6 Archers of Shrine Board’s coaching centre were selected to represent J&K State for National Archery championship to be held at Pune from 05-04-2018 to 13-04-2018.
Organization of pre inters University Coaching classes:
In Basketball organized short 7 days pre coaching camps for 20 players. The players were imparted advance coaching and under the supervision of Director Sports & Basketball coaches of the centre.
Annual Sports Day of SMVD Nursing College Kakryal:
In this activity 122 players representing Nursing college of J&K participated in the March past, Yog Asanas, 100mtr, 400 mtr, 4x100 mtr relay races.
